Robert Reynolds Chef Studio Hosts Symposium for Cooks
Searching for Culinary Soul

PORTLAND – Aug. 20, 2007 – The road to culinary self-discovery starts in a conversation with chef Robert Reynolds. Professionals who desire renewal and avocational cooks who seek to develop a second nature in the kitchen are invited to attend an informational symposium about study at Robert Reynolds Chef Studio.

Featured panelists include Vitaley Paley, chef/owner of Paley’s Place; Tim Cuscaden, co-owner of Fratelli; Tara Wefers, vice president at Burgerville (and former student); Michael Sanudo of Deadly Sins; and Klaus Monberg, executive chef of Terwilliger Plaza. Panelists will provide brief accounts of their own culinary soul searching and explain why a period of study at the Chef Studio provides a foundation that typical culinary academies don’t offer.

The symposium precedes the start of the next “Essence of Place” eight-week cooking series at Chef Studio. For more details, visit www.thechefstudio.com.
